Why do we use a liquid highlighter?
I absolutely love a liquid highlighter! Its the one product I feel can really give your skin that extra POP. You can use your liquid highlighter underneath foundation to give a beautiful glow from within, mix it into a foundation to give it a more glowy finish and of course you can add it over your foundation. Sometimes when i'm popping out to the shop and ive done my skincare I will add on some liquid highlighter to make my skin look super glowy and healthy.
Dermatologist Sonia Badreshia-Bansal, MD, says fewer natural oils, sun damage, and decreased cell renewal can all lead to dry, rougher skin as we get older.
So other than sorting out your skincare routine an instant way to fake the youthful glow is a liquid highlighter. I prefer my liquid highlighters to be glowy but not glittery nor shimmery.
Where do you put a liquid highlighter?
As already mentioned, liquid highlighters are so versatile but if your looking for the natural the suns hitting the high parts then in general add it to the tops of your cheekbones, your brow bone, cupids bow and collar bones/shoulders depending on what your wearing.
